Surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Niigata Prefecture, Echigo Yuzawa is just 90 minutes from Tokyo by Shinkansen.
Shirataki Sake Brewery is located in a gorgeous area about 5-minute walk from the east exit of JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station.

Brewery Tours

We offer Sake brewery tours limited to 6 people once a day on weekdays.
Online reservations are required.
Come to experience something extraordinary at Shirataki Sake Brewery!

＊Please note that we could only show you the facilities in the off-season of brewing between May and August.
＊Please note that there is no air conditioning in the brewery area.
＊Especially during the summer, the temperature inside the brewery may reach high temperatures depending on the weather, so the tour route may be shortened or changed to ensure safety. Thank you for your understanding.

Our Sake brewer (KURABITO in Japanese) will walk you through the entire brewing process in action.
The tour takes approximately 60 minutes.

However, as space is limited, admission may be restricted if more than 15 people are expected to participate.
